A reclaimed land island turned
private slice of paradise, Eden Island is a luxury marina resort boasting the
ultimate combination of stunning views, comfortable accommodation, and
first-class amenities. Connected to the main island of Mahé by a bridge, Eden
Island provides the ideal compromise between exclusivity and accessibility.
An equidistant 10-minute drive
from the Seychelles International Airport and the town of Victoria, Eden is
within easy reach of Mahé’s hustle and bustle, yet still provides guests with
an indulgent sense of peace and quiet.
With a range of restaurant and
bar options to suit all personal tastes, Eden Island takes pride in allowing
guests to sample cuisines from different parts of the world as well as local
Seychellois delicacies without having to venture too far. A selection of
popular Eden Island eateries include:
· » Bravo – casual restaurant with a focus on al fresco dining, offering a range of Asian-inspired dishes, meat and seafood options, and simple classics such as burgers.
· » Boardwalk Bar and Grill – serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and light bites as well as providing a true taste of Seychelles nightlife and excellent cocktails.

This is by no means an extensive
list and there are various other cafes, restaurants, and bars on offer on Eden
Island. Eden also has its very own casino, Star Casino Seychelles, for guests
wanting to tango with Lady Luck.
·
Eden Island was designed to be a
haven for rest and relaxation. Aside from the elegant and luxurious
accommodation options available on the island, Eden also provides guests with
many other opportunities to unwind and rejuvenate.
There are four private white-sand
beaches on Eden Island, creating postcard-perfect backdrops for topping up your
tan, having a soak in the crystal-clear water, or having some family fun on the
sand. These beaches are accessible only
by residents and guests of the island, and each one offers a unique view.
·
Anse Bernik – the largest of the beaches with an
outlet into the ocean, scattered with palm trees and close to the Palmier on
Eden restaurant.
·
Anse Bigorno – a small beach with wider access
to the open ocean, perfect for snorkelling and other water-based activities.
·
Anse Bernitier – with a view of Ile au Cerf,
another small island just off the coast of Mahé, Anse Bernitier provides that
quintessential tropical vibe.
·
Anse Tec Tec – a crescent-shaped bay with views
of the boats coming in and out of the Eden Island Marina.
There are two private swimming
pools in addition to the four beaches, one located overlooking Basin 1 where
Eden Island residents moor their boats and jet skis, and another at the
Clubhouse. There is also a smaller kiddie-pool located at the Clubhouse.
Both pools have access to
changing rooms, showers, and toilets for your convenience.
The Clubhouse is one of the main
hubs of activity on Eden Island and is home not only to the larger pool and
kiddie-pool, but also to a state-of-the-art gym, tennis court, and children’s
playground. There are also several games available including table tennis,
darts, and pool table for guests to enjoy.
The Eden Plaza, a shopping centre
situated near the entrance to Eden Island is another hub for residents and
guests alike, with many different shops, an art gallery, and several cafes to
visit. There is also a bank and a spa, Eden Holistic Spa, offering massages,
facials, and many other beauty and wellbeing treatments.
As a guest on Eden Island, you
will have access to your very own electric golf cart and a charging point at
your accommodation. This makes getting around the island much easier,
especially if you’re carrying beach bags or a picnic, and is ideal for exploring
all the delights Eden has to offer.
For stays of over 7 nights, Eden
Island will also provide an expert cleaning service to ensure your
accommodation is as pristine as it can be.
There is a supermarket at the
Eden Plaza as well as a small shop selling local Seychellois wares and everyday
essentials at the Clubhouse. There are ATMs dotted around prominent locations
on the island for your convenience.
Eden Island has also got its own
pharmacy should you require it.
If you’d like to book activities
such as boat trips, snorkelling excursions, or water sports, Eden House at the
entrance to Eden Island will be able to provide you with any information you
need. It is also very easy to book taxi services to and from Eden Island if you
have opted not to rent a car during your stay.
Eden Island is just a short drive
from the airport as well as the town of Victoria, and there is a bus stop
located only 300m from the Eden Bridge, making getting around very easy. With a
map in tow, you’re very well situated to explore Mahé’s treasures as well as
Eden’s.
Eden Island is also only a
five-minute drive from Victoria Harbour where you’ll be able to catch ferries
to Praslin and La Digue as well as organise other kinds of boat trips.
